Overview
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Full-Time Barn Staff to join our team. This role is essential for maintaining the daily operations of our farm, ensuring the health and safety of our animals, and supporting the overall management of barn activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, physical stamina, and a passion for farm life. Prior experience with farm machinery and mechanical knowledge is a plus, but training will be provided for necessary skills.
Responsibilities
- Feeding, watering, and caring for horses in accordance with farm protocols
- Cleaning stalls and barn areas to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Performing heavy lifting tasks related to feed bags, hay bales, and other supplies
- Monitoring animal health and reporting any concerns to management
- Supporting seasonal activities such as special events as needed
Requirements
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Prior experience working on a farm or in a similar agricultural setting is advantageous
- Strong physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Reliable transportation
- Willingness to learn new skills and follow safety protocols
- A positive attitude and team-oriented mindset are essential for success in this role
