Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing with care and efficiency.
- Maintain floors through proper care techniques including sweeping, mopping, carpet cleaning, and polishing to ensure they are spotless and safe.
- Execute detailed sanitation procedures in kitchens and bathrooms, ensuring all areas meet health regulations and hygiene standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to client requests and addressing any cleaning concerns professionally.
- Assist with janitorial duties such as restocking supplies, emptying trash bins, and maintaining cleaning equipment in excellent condition.
- Support housekeeping management by following established protocols for safety and cleanliness while contributing to a positive team environment.
Qualifications
- Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred; hotel or residential cleaning background is highly valued.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet cleaning and polishing methods.
- Strong understanding of sanitation practices essential for maintaining hygienic environments.
- Experience with laundry operations and handling various cleaning supplies safely.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning equipment effectively.
- Nice-to-have skills include cooking experience for multi-purpose household tasks or hospitality settings; familiarity with commercial cleaning procedures; and housekeeper management experience for supervisory roles.
