Duties
- Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including cakes, pastries, and bread, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Handle food preparation tasks such as mixing, measuring, and assembling ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety standards
- Package baked goods securely for retail or delivery purposes
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with product selections and answering questions about our offerings
- Follow all food handling and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers
- Assist with inventory management, including stocking supplies and ingredients as needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in baking and food preparation is required
- Bakery or kitchen experience is preferred, especially within the food industry
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience with food packaging and presentation techniques is a plus
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting supplies or baked goods
