Marvelous by Fred is a famous pâtisserie from France that has over 60 locations around the world.
We are seeking for a dynamic new co-worker to join our Bloor West Village team (2190 Bloor St W - Runnymede subway station).
This can be part time or full time position. As a food prep, you will be responsible to make all our sandwiches (they are made fresh every day) and make the food prep' ready for the next day.
You will be also asked to assit with sales. In this way, you will also be responsible to welcome customers and run them through all our products.
Other duties related to your position:
- Preparing Gift boxes of minis / Crushing meringue / Making almond croissants
- Making the dishes and cleaning the shop (these are duties we all share and do in our bakery)
The ideal candidate is someone who:
- enjoys being multitask, can work independently as well as part of the team
- is able to work week days and weekends
- has a previous experience in food preparation
- has interest in the artisan pastries baking process
- has excellent attention to detail and a positive attitude
