Five Star Building Services is hiring a Cleaner at the Abbotsford location, V3G. The schedule for this position will be Monday to Friday, 6 hours a day.

Your Job Scope:
- Sweep, mop and wash floors and stairwells as required by strata or management
- Wash windows, walls and ceilings
- Dust and polish furniture
- Vacuum carpets and upholstered furniture
- Spot clean obvious dirt or marks
- Clean glass doors
- Clean and polish elevators including panels, metal grids, and mirrors
- Clean door frames, window ledges and handrails
- Empty trash cans and replenish with clean bags
- Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
- Stock washroom supplies as required by strata/ management
- Sort recycling and wash bins
- Ensures good housekeeping and general tidiness in the assigned work area(s)
- Maintain clean and safe work environment
- Mix water and detergents or water and chemicals in containers to prepare cleaning solutions according to specifications
- Order cleaning supplies
- Report burnt out lights and minor repairs to supervisor or building manager
- Pick up debris around exterior of the building, in common areas and in parkade
- Other duties as assigned or required.
Physical Ability:
- Able to lift 30 to 50 lbs., bend and reach to high/ low places as needed.
- Capable to push heavy waste bins.
