Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will assist with various tasks on construction sites. We expect the successful candidate will be experienced in various aspects of construction and renovation from reading blueprints, framing, drywall, flooring and more. Candidate must be willing to work in and outside in various conditions.
Ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to high standards is of the highest priority.
This is a full-time position with competitive pay.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in construction (5+ years)
- Driver's license (Class G) and own transportation
-Must be able to pass criminal background check
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy objects, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions
- Comfortable working at heights
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed
- Customer service experience
- Committed to delivering quality work
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Follow instructions, solve problems, and adhere to work schedules
- Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team as well as independently as required
- Work within North Bay and surrounding area and travel as required
- Communicate with customers on job sites
- Take safety courses/training
