Key Responsibility:
We are seeking a Cybersecurity Business Analyst to become an integral part of our team! You will analyze and document the relevant business needs, processes, and systems, and to create project-specific business requirements to match the final cybersecurity software product and process with the expected project and cybersecurity outcomes.
General Responsibilities:
· The Business Analyst is accountable for eliciting, documenting and analyzing business system requirements in such a way that the business team members understand and approve them, and other project team members can successfully use them to develop the solution.
· The Business Analyst ensures the client solutions meet the cybersecurity and project requirements. Should have a strong understanding of business processes, cybersecurity and analyzes complex business problems to be solved with IT technologies.
· It is desired that the Business Analyst has cybersecurity experience, preferably within the flaw remediation and malicious code capabilities.
· Develops detailed functional, system, and project-specific requirements.
· Develops test plans, test cases, and test scripts that trace back to requirements.
· Business Analyst is also expected to work within the established project execution framework.
Decision Making:
· Makes decisions and recommendations on highly technical or complex issues and without formal guidelines or precedents and exercises resourcefulness and ingenuity to interpret policy.
· Works closely with the solutions architect, project manager, and other stakeholders to review and confirm the decision(s).
Duties:
· Organize and manage the BA and QA activities on assigned 3-5 projects, each with unique requirements and tests, different stakeholders, and varying complexity and size.
· Lead the project team in prioritizing, validating, and documenting project requirements.
· Work closely with Cybersecurity Solution Architect, IT solution architect, and the Project Manager to ensure that assigned projects meet the cybersecurity and project requirements.
· Engage in highly complex matters and business systems processes that have an impact on the organization and that involve Senior Management's strategic decisions.
· Oversee the assigned cybersecurity capability to ensure that the projects execute their portion of requirements within this capability and that the overall requirements of the capability are addressed.
· Conduct/facilitate user requirements/user story/backlog development sessions; document assumptions and constraints to understand the current state and desired future state.
· Abstract up low-level technical information to a high-level general understanding, and conversely.
· Review and approve business process models and system data flow maps.
· Lead definition of requirements with project teams and business users, translating business needs into documented requirements and use cases that can be used by cybersecurity and IT architects and designers to create solution architecture, by application specialists to configure software, or by infrastructure specialists to develop and implement technical cybersecurity solutions.
· Build and maintain effective relationships with the client executives, project business stakeholders, corporate security, cybersecurity, project team members, and other members of the cybersecurity program.
· Actively track requirements and deliverables to ensure that business requirements are being met for the assigned projects.
· Monitor and confirm business requirements that may change due to development or technical decisions or due to scope changes or technical changes from vendors or other sources.
· Complete assessment and analysis of various options to support project decisions.
· Develop project documentation including processes, user guides, support documentation, reference guides.
· Create, update, and maintain requirements traceability matrix against solution architecture, design, test plans, and hand-over to sustainment.
· Ensure test scripts meet the solution objectives and requirements specified for each field site or office location.
· Schedule and lead remote test sessions and coordinate teams across different time zones.
· Track meeting minutes & actions that come out of requirement, decision summary and quality assurance sessions. Actions must be clearly identified and assigned to an area of the project. Actions must be tracked to ensure completion from a quality assurance perspective.
· Keep a punch-list of remaining project activities, by each area, and update the status based on team updates and validations.
· Keep status on initiatives up to date so each team member is up to date on BA/QA tasks.
· Lead lessons learned sessions and apply those lessons to future initiatives by incorporating the lessons in future requirements.

This also includes proficient research skills, logical thinking, and presentation skills. Strong background with different analytical techniques including Interface Analysis, Feasibility Analysis, and SWOT Analysis is preferred.
· Effective Problem-solver capable of studying the problem, analyzing the available options, and then suggesting the best choice. Ability to observe a problem from different angles within the business, including a target user and that of a technical expert.
· Active team player with strong verbal, written, documentation, and presentation skills.
· Flexible to work in a dynamic work environment with changing priorities and scope.
· Able to develop productive business relationships and accept direction.
· Intermediate to advance knowledge of Microsoft Suite including Excel and Visio.
· Able to work with little direction.
