Summary
The Spacer / Greenhouse Team Member is responsible for operating and maintaining the IDEAAL Plant Spacing Machines and performing General Greenhouse activities.
Job Duties
- Perform Daily Vehicle and Safety Inspections.
- Operating the IDEAAL Plant Spacing Machines to:
- Pick up blocks from the blockline to place on the floor.
- Initial, re-spacing and final spacing on the floors.
- Bringing blocks to the tables for initial spacing.
- When no spacing activities are needed, greenhouse activities such as grafting, transplanting, shipping, etc., will be assigned.
Requirements
- Basic to intermediate English skills to receive and understand basic instructions and complete inspections.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
- Ability to work flexible hours - including early morning and night shifts.
- The greenhouse and warehouse are both hot and humid work settings.
