Historic Spinnakers Brewpub has an opportunity for a Sous Chef to join our kitchen leadership team! Reporting to Executive Chef Ben Clayards, our ideal candidate brings equal parts passion for creating delicious local food, fostering a warm & guest-focused environment, and excitement towards leading our team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the culinary team in terms of food production, cleaning, and labour budgeting
- Connecting with FOH team leads to manage room flow and guest expectations
- Identifying areas for improvement and approaching improvement with a "solutions-oriented" mindset.
- Maintaining a positive attitude, even as challenges arise.
It is expected that all tasks are carried out with keen attention to maintaining a safe and equitable work environment.

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
Minimum 3 years leadership experience within a high volume kitchen environment. Food Safe Level 1 required.
