Job Summary

Duties

- Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize kitchen efficiency.
- Lead and motivate team members through effective supervision, fostering a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement.
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards across all kitchen operations.
- Assist in menu planning by providing input on seasonal dishes, ingredient sourcing, and innovative culinary ideas.
- Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless food service and uphold the restaurant’s reputation for fine dining excellence.
Experience
- Proven experience working in a high-volume restaurant or banquet setting with a strong background in food preparation and kitchen management.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience leading culinary teams in fast-paced environments.
- Extensive knowledge of dietary requirements, food safety protocols, and inventory management practices within the food industry.
- Experience with catering operations and event banquet service is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage shifts effectively while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
- Familiarity with menu planning, food handling procedures, and culinary techniques relevant to fine dining establishments.
- Prior experience in hospitality or restaurant management roles that showcase your ability to oversee food service operations confidently.
