The Opportunity
This key role has a direct impact on company revenue and customer satisfaction. This person is responsible for preparing accurate project estimates, material procurement and service coordination for residential renovation projects as well as collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, trades, suppliers, and vendors. This role supports successful project delivery through effective cost management, purchasing, scheduling coordination, and operational support.
Key Accountabilities
- Prepare accurate project estimates and scopes of work using site information, drawings, specifications, photos, and project documentation for residential renovation projects.
- Coordinate pricing and obtain quotes from suppliers, subcontractors, and trades to support accurate costing and budgeting while maintaining strong working relationships and effective communication.
- Review, revise, and maintain project estimates, budgets, purchase orders, and cost documentation, including approved changes throughout the project lifecycle, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Complete material take-offs, coordinate procurement activities, and manage the ordering of materials and services required to support project timelines and competing priorities.
- Track material availability, delivery schedules, and vendor coordination to ensure projects progress efficiently and required products arrive on time while proactively identifying and resolving issues.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams to support project execution, scheduling, operational processes, cost tracking, and reporting.
- Maintain organised project documentation and contribute to post-project reviews, process improvements, and overall operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in estimating, procurement, construction coordination, purchasing, or a related role within residential construction, renovations, homebuilding, or a similar environment.
- Solid understanding of residential construction materials, renovation sequencing, subcontractor coordination, budgeting, and project costing.
- Proficiency with estimating, procurement, project management, or construction-related software and systems.
- Excellent communication skills, and the ability to represent the company professionally to and build trust with home-owners.
Pay: $70,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
