Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Cook to join our team responsible for proteins and pastas. The ideal candidate will possess strong supervisory skills, extensive restaurant and kitchen experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality. This position offers an opportunity to oversee daily operations, manage food preparation and service, and lead a team towards excellence in a fast-paced environment. The Senior cook will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of food safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to company standards
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, maintaining consistency and quality in all dishes served
- Lead, motivate, and manage team members to foster a positive work environment focused on teamwork and excellence
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures at all times
- Manage restaurant service activities, including serving guests efficiently and courteously
- Train new staff members on food safety practices, service standards, and operational procedures
- Monitor inventory levels, assist with ordering supplies, and ensure proper storage of ingredients
- Handle customer inquiries or complaints professionally to uphold the restaurant’s reputation for hospitality
- Collaborate with management to develop menus, specials, and promotional activities that enhance guest experience
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience in an upscale restaurant or food service setting
- Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations
- Knowledge in European/ Asian cuisine is preferred
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively
- Experience in restaurant management or hospitality roles preferred
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on serving guests and team collaboration
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of the food industry trends and customer service best practices

Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
