Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest problems and entry points
- Apply appropriate pest control treatments using hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery as needed
- Develop customized treatment plans based on inspection findings
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding treatment procedures and safety precautions
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and chemicals used
- Follow safety protocols and environmental regulations during all treatments
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure optimal operation
- Assist in the sales process by explaining services and upselling additional treatments when appropriate
Qualifications
- Prior experience in pest control, sales, or related fields is preferred but not required
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery safely and effectively
- Familiarity with using various hand-held or powered equipment for pest treatment applications
- Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in diverse environments
- Valid driver’s license is required for travel between job sites
- Willingness to learn about pest management techniques and safety procedures
