Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Clinic Cleaning Technician to join our growing and dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have their own vehicle for transporting a vacuum cleaner and mobile cleaning tools, a passion for cleanliness and a commitment to maintaining high standards in healthcare settings, specifically dental clinics. This role is essential for ensuring that our dental healthcare facilities are clean, safe, and welcoming for their staff and patients on a regular basis.
Please note that you MUST own a reliable vehicle in order to be considered for this job opportunity. Uber, hitching a ride from firends or family, or taking the bus to transport cleaning equipment between jobs is not an option!
This job posting is for dental clinic locations in the Nepean and Barrhaven area:
- Wednesday Nights (8:00 pm-10:00 pm, 2 hrs flexible)
- Saturdays or Sundays (8 hrs, flexible)
Currently 10 hrs per week. More hours/opportunities available in the future
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks in various dental clinic settings, including offices, operatories, reception, lunch/break rooms, restrooms, and common areas.
- Use their own vehicle to transport mobile cleaning tools and equipment between dental clinics
- Utilize appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure effective sanitation and hygiene.
- Conduct thorough dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface cleaning as per established protocols.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when restocking is necessary.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures while performing cleaning duties.
Experience
- Previous custodial experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and equipment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
