EnVision Consultants is looking for an experienced, motivated, team-oriented person to join our Geotechnical team as a Senior Pavement Engineer. Ideal candidates will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and problem-solving abilities and demonstrate the capacity to effectively manage internal and external relationships.

As part of your role, you may expect to be involved in:

Serve as a technical lead on pavements and mentor junior and intermediate staff

Manage, coordinate and provide technical direction to pavement site investigations and laboratory testing programs

Advance pavement capabilities to suit existing client needs and evaluate additional services

Undertake analyses and report on investigation findings and provide recommendations

Ensure high quality of technical work, including field methodology, reporting, and client deliverables

Foster an atmosphere of continuous improvement

Proactively commit to creating a positive work environment

Collaborate with other disciplines at EnVision with respect to multi-disciplinary projects

Travel to sites within the Greater Toronto Area and Ontario, as needed

Any other functions assigned as part of your employment
To apply to this position, you should expect to have:

Engineering degree and licensed as a P.Eng. in Ontario

10+ years of experience in pavement engineering or similar field
-
A valid G license and access to a vehicle to travel to and from sites (mileage compensated), including valid and appropriate vehicle insurance

Proven success in client relationship management and strong leadership skills

Comfortable interacting with the public, clients, contractors, and co-workers

Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively and proactively respond to time-sensitive issues
