STATUS: Part Time/ Seasonal (From July 24 until end of season - approx. November 14)
REPORTS TO: Assistant Golf Professional
DESCRIPTION:
- Meet and greet guest in courteous and friendly manner.
- Provide assistance, direction, and information to guests.
- Ensure Golf Shop is clean, free of dust and vacuumed regularly. This includes folding and merchandising of product.
- Assist in the receiving and displaying of inventory.
- Have good product knowledge of all equipment and apparel.
- Take telephone bookings and maintain the tee sheets.
- Operate P.O.S. system and generate inventory reports.
- Assist in tournament organizing, set up and scoring.
- Assist in tournament organizing and set up.
- Send and receive data on handicap computer on a regular basis.
- Operate and supervise the golf shop when required.
- Opening and closing of the golf shop.
- Monthly golf shop inventory recording.
- When required, assist professional staff in all areas of golf operation.
- This position is classified as safety sensitive, defined in accordance with our fit for duty program
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma, or equivalent
