The Shipper/Receiver is responsible for safe and efficient shipping, receiving, picking and storage of materials including mechanical and manual material handling.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities*
- Frequent manually picking of 25 kg bags of product to meet order requirements
- Operation of the counterbalance forklift and pump truck for loading and/or of trailers/trucks.
- Assisting with removal and placement of product into warehouse locations with the use of the forklift
- Accurate scanning products in and out of the RF – Warehouse Management Scanning System
- Accurate and timely picking of orders, processing receipts, shipments, consolidation and put away tasks and systems transactions
- Safe movement of materials within the warehouse utilizing forklift equipment
- Ensure optimal, organized, and safe storing of products within the warehouse.
- Practise safe work habits and good housekeeping at all times.
- May be required from time to time to work a Saturday or Sunday, but very infrequent
- Support and lead by example, Barentz’ culture, values, and fundamentals
- Other duties and responsibilities as requested

Qualifications
- At least 2 years of counterbalance forklift experience
- At least 2 years warehouse experience
- Previous RF scanning experience a plus
- Accuracy and eye for detail are a must
- Be able to work independently with minimal guidance
- Physical strength to endure repetitive manual lifting of 25 kg bags a must
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $22.00-$24.50 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
