Things you will do:
· Load and unload parts to be painted on paint racks by lifting within legal lifting limits or by means of mechanical lifting devices
· Clean paint booth and paint prep areas as required to maintain a safe work environment
· Masking and taping preparation of products as required
· Knowledge of safety equipment and safe handling of chemicals used in the work area
· Prepare and clean surfaces using methods such as scraping, sanding, chipping to prepare the surfaces for painting
· Caulking of all non-welded joints in preparation of painting
What you have:
· Grade 12 or equivalent experience
· 1-3 years’ experience working in a paint, fabrication and/or manufacturing facility
· Experience operating mobile equipment including forklifts and overhead cranes
· Experience with air systems an asset
