Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Assembly and PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) Technician to join our service team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling products according to schematics, performing quality inspections, and ensuring that all equipment meets safety and operational standards. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, familiarity with hand and power tools, and experience in powersport environments. The Assembly and PDI Technician plays a critical role in maintaining product quality and supporting efficient production processes.
Responsibilities
- Assemble components and systems following detailed schematics and assembly instructions
- Conduct pre-delivery inspections to ensure products meet quality standards, specifications and safety
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, calipers, and other measuring instruments for precise assembly and inspection
- Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and manufacturing instructions accurately
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts safely when required for material handling
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment at all times
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues during assembly or inspection processes
- Maintain organized workstations and document inspection results accurately
Requirements
- Proven experience in manufacturing, assembly, or warehouse environments preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, calipers, and other measurement devices
- Experience with machining, welding, or forklift operation is a plus
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics effectively
- Warehouse experience is desirable but not mandatory
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality standards and safety
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of safety procedures related to manufacturing operations
Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
