Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mechanic to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operation. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and proficiency with hand tools and power tools. The Mechanic will play a vital part in minimizing downtime and supporting the overall efficiency of our operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment
- Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate tools and techniques
- Repair or replace faulty components, including belts, gears, motors, and hydraulic systems
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete repairs
- Document maintenance activities accurately in company records
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex problems
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety standards are met
- Assist in installing new equipment or upgrading existing systems as needed
Experience
- Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role within an industrial or manufacturing setting
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read technical manuals and schematics
- Proficiency with various hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, etc.
- Experience using power tools safely and effectively for repairs and maintenance tasks
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently and accurately
- Prior experience working with hydraulic, pneumatic, or electrical systems is a plus
Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and quality standards

Pay: $19.00-$24.00 per hour
