We are looking for a full time experienced sous chef a very busy kitchen. This is not an entry level job. Wage is based off of experience and can lead to a salaried position including paid vacation.
Candidates must have FULL TIME availability that includes day and night shifts with weekend availability, including holidays.
Successful candidate has experience and in the following:
- Opening or closing of restaurant on various stations
- Implementation of new menu items.
- Office work using inventory system, costing out items, ordering working closely with executive chef.
- Lead and delegation of staff, running kitchen during rushes.
- Preparing of food items on Hash breakfast menu and Forno Italian menu including pasta's, pizza's, Tomahawk steaks.
- Working on fryers, sauté, flat top range and maintaining cleanliness of equipment and kitchen.
- Working in a open kitchen in front of guests
- Prepping of food items and executing catering events
Successful candidate must have Food safety certification.
