Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Renovations Specialist to join our construction team. This role involves executing a variety of renovation projects, including residential and commercial properties, with a focus on quality craftsmanship and safety. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction and renovation techniques, with the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics. Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to determine project requirements
- Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and specialized machinery safely and efficiently
- Perform carpentry tasks such as framing, cabinet installation, and flooring installation
- Execute concrete forming, finishing, and masonry work to create durable structures
- Install tiles and perform flooring work to enhance aesthetic appeal
- Apply caulking and restoration techniques to improve building integrity and appearance
- Manage construction estimating tasks to ensure project accuracy and resource allocation
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met while maintaining safety standards
Skills
- Proven experience in construction, carpentry, masonry, or related fields
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings accurately
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery operation
- Knowledge of concrete forming, finishing, tile laying, flooring installation, and electrical systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to estimate project costs accurately and manage resources effectively
- Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients
- Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks in various environments
