About the Job
Are you someone who enjoys working with heavy equipment, solving mechanical problems, and seeing the results of a productive day's work? Join our team as a Quarry Plant Operator at our Severn Pit in Orillia. In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for operating our aggregate processing plant and performing routine and preventative maintenance to keep production running safely and efficiently. We're looking for someone who is dependable, mechanically inclined, and takes pride in producing quality work.

What we offer:
Full-time hours (40–50 hours per week)
Afternoon and Saturday shifts as required
Competitive hourly wage of $30.65/hour
$5.00/hour afternoon shift premium

What You'll Be Doing
Operating wash plants, crushers, and conveyor systems
Operating CAT skid steer equipment
Performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance on plant equipment
Troubleshooting mechanical issues to minimize downtime
Assisting with daily plant production activities
Monitoring stockpiles and identifying oversized material
Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Following all company safety policies and procedures
Here's What You Need
Required Qualifications
Minimum one year of experience as a Plant Operator or in a similar industrial environment
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Valid Ontario Class G driver's licence with a clean driving record
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Assets
Experience operating heavy equipment
Welding experience or certification
Ontario Common Core training
Experience in the aggregate, mining, or construction materials industry
