We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food Service Counter Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing food items, handling transactions, and maintaining a clean and sanitized environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service, cashiering, and food handling, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and food safety standards. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist with menu selections
- Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and safety guidelines
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Manage cash register transactions accurately and efficiently
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the counter area, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety standards
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly
- Assist with restocking supplies and maintaining inventory levels
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues professionally
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation or food industry roles is preferred
- Restaurant or food service experience is highly desirable
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
- Basic math skills for handling cash and making change
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in serving or cashiering roles will be advantageous
