We are looking for a candidate with excellent Slinger operation experience, though we are willing to train the right candidate, applicant must have the ability to operate an 18 speed truck, knowledge of the construction industry is an asset, mechanical aptitude , great hand eye co ordination exceptional customer service skills! Experience is mandatory, if you can operate a hydro vac, You don't mind operating septic pump trucks willing to get out of the drivers seat and work from time to time you may be the right candidate for this position
Duties
- pre trip, post trip inspections
- Pick up material
- operate slinger in a variety of tight spaces, safely and professionally
- Operate a commercial vehicle to pick up and transport rock, soil, mulch, sand ect, deliver to job sites and operate slinger efficiently to spread material.
- Communicate with clients politely and effectively
- sling, gravel and soil safely as per clients specifications
- Pump septic tanks, dump waste ad disposal facility
- operate hydrovac, day light utilities,drive, dump and maintain truck
- Manage all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repairs, including routine inspections and automotive repair tasks.
- Load and unload freight using heavy equipment operation techniques
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and other operational data.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
- Ensure that all material is secured properly to prevent damage during transit.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) class 1 or 3 with air with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in slinger operation or as operator driver.
- Strong knowledge of heavy equipment operation and automotive repair is preferred.
