Health and Safety Officer for Water & Sewer Construction, responsibilities include, Supervising Health & Safety Co-Ordinator, monitoring health and safety risks and hazards in the workplace and on the job site. Advising employees on how to minimize or ultimately avoid risks and hazards in the workplace. Preparing and enforcing policies to establish a culture of health and safety. Evaluating practices, procedures and facilities to assess risk and adherence to the law. Weekly sight inspections and preparing all reports as well as maintain all records. Must have full knowledge of COR Certification.
