Position: Carpenter
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in carpentry, with a strong background in both building and installation projects. Key Responsibilities
- Project Construction: Build, assemble, and install. Our core projects are doors, shelves, mantels, beams, feature walls, built ins, and custom furniture.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to fully grasp project requirements.
- Material Selection: Choose appropriate materials for projects, ensuring quality and budget considerations.
- Precision and Detail: Measure, cut, shape, and join materials with precision, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to safety standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with team members and clients to ensure projects meet desired outcomes and timelines.
- Maintenance and Repairs: Conduct repairs and maintenance of the shop equipment to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional carpentry experience.
- Skills: Proficient in using hand and power tools, with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work well in a team setting.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and lift heavy materials safely.
- License: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
