Location: Greater Toronto Area (GTA) / Durham Region, Peel Region, York Region, Halton Region
Hours: Monday to Friday, possible weekends.

Job Description
- We are looking for an individual that loves meeting new people. The life of a home inspector can be fun, and every property is a new experience.
- Daily duties include inspecting properties, writing inspection reports and interacting with home buyers, sellers and real estate partners.
- Inspect roofing, exterior, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and other building systems
- Each property is unique and requires an inspector who is knowledgeable and communicates clearly with clients. Training and regular guidance will be provided. Strong communication skills are crucial.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Home Inspector Certification preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline, Civil or Mechanical preferred
- Proven experience as a Home / Commercial Property Inspector Construction or skilled trades experience is considered a major asset
- Strong English (written and verbal). A practical assessment is part of the hiring process.
- Knowledgeable in Ontario Building Code - Part 9 considered an asset.
- Demonstrated professional and ethical responsibility to protect privacy, use confidential information appropriately, and treat sensitive situations with an appropriate degree of tact and discretion
- Proficient in technology including Google Workspace, MS Office with the ability to learn our company reporting software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (phone, email, and in-person).
- Possess and maintain a valid Ontario Class “G” Driver’s License, with vehicle
- Self-driven, positive attitude and willing to continually learn
- Willingness to be part of a team culture.
General Information
- Training on company systems and procedures during probationary period.
- Personality and Cognitive Assessments required as part of the interview process.
- Upon a conditional offer of employment, a Criminal Record Check is required. (compensation will be supplied).
- Safety footwear is required. Company uniform provided.
