Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing exceptional patient care, promoting oral health, and supporting our team in delivering a positive patient experience. This role offers an opportunity to work in a friendly, patient-focused environment with a focus on comprehensive dental health services.
Duties
- Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup
- Take digital x-rays as needed
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Dentally
- Manage patient scheduling and follow-up appointments
- Support the dental team with sterilization and infection control protocols
- Provide compassionate care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
- Assist with administrative tasks related to patient check-in and check-out processes
- Must be available to work on Mondays and Wednesdays. Other days availability to discuss.
Skills
- Proficiency with Dentally or similar dental management software
- Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations are a plus
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry
- Excellent customer service skills to ensure a welcoming and comfortable experience for patients
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages, including children and special needs patients
- Familiarity with infection control standards and sterilization procedures
- Compassionate, detail-oriented, and able to work well within a team setting
Pay: $48.00-$52.00 per hour
