Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. This role involves supporting warehouse distribution operations, including order fulfillment, shipping & receiving, heavy equipment operation and assembly. The ideal candidate will have experience with warehouse management systems, heavy lifting, and operating equipment. Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, and order pickers to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently
- Assist with order picking, packaging, and order fulfillment to ensure timely delivery of products
- Manage shipping & receiving processes, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments
- Perform heavy lifting tasks to handle materials and products of various sizes and weights
- Support construction-related tasks when necessary, including material handling and equipment setup
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment to promote safety and efficiency
- Assist in inventory management, stock replenishment, and cycle counts
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers
- Proficiency with warehouse equipment such as forklifts, and order pickers; certification preferred
- Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation and maintenance
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively (up to 150 lbs)
- Strong understanding of shipping & receiving procedures and order fulfillment processes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting with attention to detail and safety protocols
- Prior experience with warehouse experience or logistics is highly desirable
