We are a well-established HVAC Mechanical company with an excellent reputation. Currently looking for a HVAC Technician to join to our company. The company services commercial and industrial clients across the GTA.
Our HVAC and refrigeration service technicians install, repair and maintain industrial, commercial heating ventilation, air conditioning systems and refrigerators in Burlington, Brampton, Aurora, Vaughan, Oshawa, Bowmanville, Mississauga, Whitby, Ajax, Scarborough, Milton, Markham, Newmarket, Richmond Hill, Pickering, North York, East York, York and Toronto, ON.
Main Job Duties -
- Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems
- Inspect HVAC systems and their components to ensure they are functioning properly
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning and replacing filters
- Repair or replace defective parts in HVAC systems
- Test HVAC systems to ensure they are operating efficiently
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines when working with HVAC systems
The ideal candidate must have:
- 313A License
- Gas Fitter 1 license
- Working at heights Certificate
- ODP Certificate
- a minimum of 5 years of experience
- Experience with the installation, service and commissioning of commercial HVAC equipment including rooftop units, heat pumps, chillers, cooling towers and boilers
- Current Driver's abstract
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Proficiency in HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair techniques
- Ability to weld and fabricate metal components as needed
- Knowledge of electrical systems related to HVAC equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose and troubleshoot issues
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate repairs and installations
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting heavy equipment or working in tight spaces
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45.00-$55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
