What You'll Do:
As a member of our teaching team, you will:
- Prepare and maintain a warm, safe, and engaging Montessori classroom environment.
- Foster children's social, emotional, physical, intellectual, and creative development.
- Model positive values such as kindness, respect, honesty, accountability, empathy, and inclusion.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe learning environment.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to plan and implement developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
- Observe, assess, and respond to each child's individual needs and interests.
- Build strong, positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and development.
- Participate in school events, professional development, and educational workshops.
- Accompany children on field trips and school outings as required.
- Follow all school policies, licensing regulations, and educational guidelines.
- Support children of varying ages, learning styles, and abilities with patience and professionalism.
Qualifications:
- Early Childhood Educator (ECE), Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) or a Montessori Diploma (MACTE, AMI) in Infant/Toddler or Early Childhood Education.
- Strong communication, observation, and classroom management skills.
- Ability to remain calm, organized, and positive in a busy classroom environment.
- A genuine passion for helping children learn and thrive.
- Additional education or professional development in early childhood education is considered an asset.
What We Offer:
- $22.00–$26.00 per hour (based on qualifications and experience)
- Full-time, permanent position
