Lead Hand Construction Labourer
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Lead Hand Construction Labourer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be hands-on, hardworking, and capable of leading a small crew while maintaining productivity, safety, and quality on site.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a crew on residential/commercial job sites
- Coordinate daily tasks and keep projects moving efficiently
- Perform general construction labour duties
- Read and follow site plans/instructions
- Ensure work is completed safely and to company standards
- Communicate with management, subcontractors, and crew members
- Train and mentor junior labourers when needed
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite
Requirements:
- Previous construction experience required
- Experience leading a crew or acting as a lead hand
- Strong work ethic and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and solve problems on site
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s licence preferred
- Comfortable using power tools and construction equipment
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials
