DealFinder Auctions is growing fast! We are just heading into our second year of business, and we were recently voted the Best Gift Store in Airdrie. We run an exciting, fast-paced auction house and need a creative, self-directed individual to help us showcase our inventory and grow our digital footprint.
The Role:
We are looking for a tech-savvy, creative Marketing Manager to take ownership of our online presence. This is the perfect role for a university/college student studying business, marketing, or photography, or a content creator who already knows how to engage an audience online.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Photography & Listing: Taking clean, attractive photos of auction items and posting them accurately onto our auction website.
- Social Media Management: Bringing fresh, creative ideas to our social media channels to drive engagement, followers, and bidders.
- Inventory Tracking: Utilizing Windows-based software to manage listings.
What We Are Looking For:
- Age 19–23: Must meet this bracket to qualify for our youth employment funding grant.
- Tech & Camera Savvy: Highly proficient with Windows computers and comfortable handling a camera/smartphone for high-quality photos.
- Creative Mindset: Ideally studying a relevant degree (Marketing, Communications, Photography) OR you possess a proven track record/large personal social media following.
- Character Matters: We need someone who is exceptionally reliable, morally grounded, trustworthy, and comfortable working independently (self-directed).
