Brand Energy Solutions is currently hiring a Journeyman Scaffolder for work at our a Red Deer area site. We are seeking a motivated, safety-focused individual to join our team.
Position Details
- Full-time employment.
- 4 x 10-hour shifts.
- Local candidates preferred.
- No LOA or travel subsidy provided.
- Position covered under the CLAC Collective Agreement.
Responsibilities
- Erect, modify, inspect, and dismantle scaffolding systems in a safe and efficient manner.
- Provide safe access solutions for trades and site personnel.
- Load, unload, and organize scaffold materials and equipment.
- Follow site-specific safety procedures and company policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Work effectively as part of a team in industrial and construction environments.
- Assist with planning and material requirements as needed.
Qualifications
- Journeyman Scaffolder ticket considered an asset; non-ticketed JM Scaffolders are welcome to apply.
- CSTS and OSSA Regional Orientation or OSSA Basic Safety Orientation required.
- Ability to work safely at heights.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Physically fit and capable of performing demanding manual labour.
- Basic math and problem-solving skills.
- Reliable transportation to and from site.
Working Conditions
- Outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
- Industrial construction environment.
- Frequent lifting, carrying, climbing, and working at heights.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required.
Successful candidates must pass pre-access Alcohol and Drug Testing prior to mobilization.
