Job Summary
We are urgently seeking reliable and detail-oriented commercial cleaners to join our team. You will be working primarily on projects in downtown calgary. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards across various commercial facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, retail stores, and industrial facilities
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize surfaces to meet health and safety standards
- Maintain restrooms by cleaning fixtures, replenishing supplies, and ensuring hygiene compliance
- Dispose of waste properly and ensure trash receptacles are emptied regularly
- Conduct routine facilities maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs or minor repairs as needed
- Follow established cleaning protocols and safety procedures at all times
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
Requirements
- Prior experience in cleaning, commercial cleaning, or facilities maintenance is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, and performing repetitive motions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Reliable transportation is a plus for timely job site access
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to adapt to different shifts or schedules as needed
