About the Role:
We are hiring Concrete Laborers and Finishers to join our team working on municipal infrastructure projects including curbs, sidewalks, and street reconstructions throughout New Brunswick. We're looking for hardworking individuals who take pride in quality concrete work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with concrete pouring, placing, and finishing for curbs and sidewalks
- Operate hand tools including trowels, floats, edgers, and groovers
- Set up and remove formwork and string lines
- Prepare surfaces and ensure proper grading before pours
- Finish concrete surfaces to specifications and quality standards
- Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment
- Maintain clean and safe work areas
- Follow directions from foreman and work as part of a team
- Perform general labor duties as required on construction sites
Qualifications:
- Previous concrete finishing experience preferred but not required
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy materials
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Valid driver's license an asset
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Team player with positive attitude
Experience Levels:
- Entry-level laborers welcome
- Experienced finishers encouraged to apply
