Snapshot of the Position
At Colemans, we delight in providing our guests with the highest quality product. We are seeking an experienced and skilled baker to join our Artisan bread team at our Gardens Market location. If you are passionate about baking bread and would like to be a part of our team, we would like to hear from you.
What You’ll Do
- Create, bake, and display a variety of specialty breads.
- Familiarity with the dough mixing process.
- Ability to scale, shape, and score different varieties of breads.
- Operating baking machines and rotating stock.
- Keeping work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
- Adhere to food, health and safety standards at all times.
- Adhere to all company guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Any additional duties as required.
What We Are Looking For
- 1-3 years of experience as a Baker.
- Working knowledge of basic equipment including, but not limited to, mixers, blenders, food processors.
- Ability to lift up to 20 kg is a definite asset.
- Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team.
Rate of Pay
$16.35 - $20.96 per hour
Hours of Work
32+ hours per week; days, evenings and weekends as needed
