Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for finishing concrete surfaces to meet quality standards, ensuring smooth, durable, and aesthetically pleasing results. This role requires a strong understanding of concrete techniques, tools, and safety protocols, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience with various construction methods and materials is highly valued to support successful project completion.
Responsibilities
- Finish concrete surfaces using hand tools and power tools to achieve desired textures and smoothness
- Set forms and install rebar according to blueprints and schematics
- Operate heavy equipment safely for concrete placement and finishing tasks
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for accurate project execution
- Perform masonry, carpentry, and concrete forming work as needed during projects
- Apply caulking, restoration techniques, and flooring installation when required
- Conduct welding and other related tasks to support structural integrity
- Assist with demolition, renovation, and other related construction activities
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and project specifications
Experience
- Proven experience in concrete finishing, masonry, or related construction fields
- Mechanical knowledge of tools, equipment, and schematics used in concrete work
- Hands-on experience with rebar installation, form building, and blueprint reading
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation and power tools for construction tasks
- Knowledge of restoration techniques, welding, flooring installation, and renovation processes is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the workday
