Responsibilities
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process transactions swiftly and efficiently
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting shoppers, answering questions, and offering product assistance
- Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cash handling duties with precision and integrity
- Assist with merchandising tasks such as stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are correctly priced and labeled
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area and stockroom to promote safety and efficiency
- Upsell products by highlighting promotions or complementary items to enhance the customer experience
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick checkout lines and stock replenishment
Experience
- Serve Pro is a major plus !
- Any experience in Bartending / Liquor store work
- Previous retail sales or cashiering experience preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and managing cash registers
- Knowledge of POS systems, merchandising techniques, and customer service best practices is advantageous
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Demonstrated professionalism with good phone etiquette and positive attitude toward teamwork
