Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Drywaller to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, finishing, and repairing drywall surfaces to create smooth, durable walls and ceilings that meet high-quality standards. Your expertise will contribute to transforming interior spaces efficiently and accurately, ensuring client satisfaction and project success. Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install drywall panels according to project specifications and blueprints
- Finish drywall joints using taping, mudding, sanding, and texturing techniques to achieve seamless surfaces
- Repair or replace damaged drywall sections promptly to maintain quality standards
- Apply caulking around seams, corners, and fixtures to ensure airtight and moisture-resistant finishes
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and technical drawings to accurately execute projects
- Collaborate with carpenters, painters, and other trades to coordinate work sequences effectively
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and debris removal throughout the project lifecycle
Experience
- Proven experience in drywall installation and finishing within commercial or residential construction settings
- Strong knowledge of construction painting, carpentry, caulking, and general handyman skills
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings with confidence
- Hands-on experience with drywall materials such as gypsum boards, joint compounds, tapes, and fasteners
- Familiarity with safety protocols on construction sites and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Prior experience in construction painting or related trades is a plus but not mandatory
