Overview
We are seeking a skilled and versatile General Carpenter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various trades, including carpentry, framing, drywall, flooring, forming, concrete and general construction. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on diverse projects, from restoration and siding to cabinetry and flooring installation. The General Carpenterwill be responsible for executing detailed tasks with precision, utilizing a wide range of tools and techniques to ensure quality craftsmanship across multiple disciplines.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute project plans
- Perform concrete forming and rebar installation with attention to safety and quality standards
- Install cabinetry, flooring, tiles, siding, and other building components
- Conduct restoration projects including surface repairs and finishing touches
- Operate hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and other equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist with construction painting, caulking, siding installation, and general finishing tasks
- Measure materials accurately for construction estimating purposes
- Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks in various environments
- Maintain a clean and organized work site while adhering to safety protocols
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within scope
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction trades such as carpentry, or general contracting
- Knowledge of blueprint reading helpful but not required
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and specialized equipment
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to heavy lifting and working at heights or in confined spaces
- Ability to perform precise measurements and interpret technical drawings accurately
- Experience with restoration work or woodworking is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to different project requirements
- Valid driver’s license requried for site access or material transportation purposes

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
