Overview
We are seeking a motivated Carpenters Helper to assist skilled carpenters in various construction and renovation projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the carpentry and construction industry, supporting a range of tasks from framing to finishing. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, dependable, and capable of working in dynamic environments. Prior experience in construction or related fields is a plus, but not mandatory. This position is paid and suitable for individuals interested in developing their skills within the trades.
Duties
- Help with cabinet installation, flooring, tile laying, and siding projects
- Operate hand tools, power tools, safely and effectively
- Perform general construction painting, caulking, and restoration work to prepare sites for finishing
- Assist with heavy lifting and material handling to ensure safety and efficiency on-site
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all phases of construction activities
Skills
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking on job sites
- Handyman experience or background is beneficial
- Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on safety compliance and quality workmanship
