Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Fence Installer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing various types of fences, ensuring safety, precision, and quality in every project. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse residential and commercial fencing projects, contributing to the aesthetic and security improvements of our clients' properties. Candidates should have a strong background in building fences and Carpentry and be comfortable working outdoors in different weather conditions.
Duties
- Measure and mark installation sites according to project plans and blueprints is desirable
- Use hand tools such as hammers, drills, and saws to assemble fence panels and posts
- Dig post holes with appropriate tools, ensuring proper depth and alignment
- Install fence posts, panels, gates, and accessories following schematics and specifications
- Read blueprints and schematics to accurately execute fencing layouts
- Ensure all installations meet safety standards and building codes
- Operate power tools safely and efficiently during installation processes
- Perform minor repairs or restoration work on existing fences as needed
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly
Skills
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in construction and fencing projects
- Experience with fencing, construction, carpentry, or related trades is highly desirable
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, or technical drawings accurately is desirable
- Knowledge of caulking, welding, plumbing, flooring installation, tile laying, or construction painting is a plus
- Familiarity with schematics for electrical or mechanical components related to fencing systems is advantageous
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and work outdoors for extended periods
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure precise measurements and quality workmanship
- Good communication skills for collaborating with team members and clients

We run a clean, safe worksite and No smokers, drug users, marijuana smokers, or drinking on site will ever be tolerated.
I am just starting to get busier in the fencing industry and will pay you what your worth. I have two young kids and will have to drop them off at 9 and pick them up at 2:30 on some days. My schedule can be sporadic so if you can work efficiently on your own it would be a huge plus. Golf enthusiast are desirable!
