The position is based at our Saint-Hyacinthe plant and involves an evening shift schedule from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., Monday to Friday. The hourly wage is $40.85/hour.

Your role:
As a Control Instrumentation Technician, you will be at the heart of operations! You will ensure the maintenance, repair, and optimization of production equipment, as well as electrical, electronic, and instrumentation systems, to guarantee their performance and reliability.
You will also play a key role in documenting interventions and actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing processes and preventing failures.
What you will accomplish daily:

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance and optimize production equipment

Diagnose and resolve technical issues (safety, quality, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation)

Program and improve PLCs and control systems

Install, calibrate, and troubleshoot measurement instruments

Document interventions, contribute to continuous improvement, and comply with standards (HACCP, GMP)
Requirements to join our team:

DEC in Industrial Electronics Technology or AEC in Instrumentation, Automation and Robotics, or equivalent/higher education

Valid electrical certification

Knowledge of Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLCs

Experience in the food or dairy industry (an asset)

Good knowledge of HACCP certification principles

Proactive, rigorous, and solution-oriented mindset

Computer skills (CMMS, Microsoft Office Suite)
