Position Overview
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Prep Cook / Baker to join our team. This role involves preparing ingredients, baking products, and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen. The ideal candidate is passionate about food, works well in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys being part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients for daily recipes (chopping, measuring, mixing, etc.)
- Bake a variety of goods (bread, muffins, cookies, and other items)
- Follow recipes and production schedules accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and workstations
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met
- Assist with inventory, restocking, and labeling
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals
Qualifications
- Previous kitchen or baking experience is an asset (but willing to train the right candidate)
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
