Overview
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager specialized in the Flooring Division to oversee and coordinate flooring installation projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of construction processes, and proficiency with industry-specific management software. This role offers an opportunity to lead diverse projects, ensure timely delivery, and maintain high-quality standards within a dynamic construction environment.
Responsibilities
● Manage multiple flooring projects simultaneously from estimate approval through completion.
● Coordinate installation schedules with customers, installers, suppliers.
● Conduct site visits and ensure projects are progressing according to schedule and specifications.
● Review drawings, measurements, and material requirements.
● Order materials and coordinate deliveries to job sites.
● Manage change orders, project budgets, and timelines.
● Resolve project issues and provide exceptional customer service.
● Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
● Maintain accurate project documentation and progress reports.
● Collaborate with sales, accounting, and installation teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Qualifications
● 3+ years of project management experience in construction, renovation, or flooring.
● Knowledge of various types of flooring (asset).
● Experience with estimating and project management software; MeasureSquare, QuickBooks, experience is considered an asset.
● Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
● Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
● Proficiency with Microsoft Office and technology-based scheduling tools.
● Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
