Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper to join our team. You will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Club, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in our administrative processes. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, Quickbooks Online expertise and keen administrative skills.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Executive Council.
- Answer inquires to clients for hall rentals and events.
- Maintain accurate records and files, both electronic and physical, ensuring they are easily accessible and up-to-date.
- Coordinate logistics for events, meetings, and conferences, wedding, showers, including venue booking, catering arrangements, and payments.
- Complete the day to day bookkeeping duties which include payroll, accounts recievable, account payable and CRA remittances.
- Assist with the coordination of the Annual General Meeting.
- Assist with social media marketing content
- Skills/Qualifications:
- Proven experience in an administrative support role, preferably in a nonprofit or community-based organization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software applications.
- Proficiency in Quickbooks Online.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate professionally and courteously the Executive Council members, Club members, staff and the general public.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and data security.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively as part of a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
