We are looking for a dedicated long-term team member with a special interest in concussion therapy and is sports oriented to join our growing practice.
Our clinic specializes in Concussion Rehabilitation, Sports Injuries, Vestibular & Visual Therapy. We also provide treatment for motor vehicle accidents and WSIB patients.
Requirements
Master's degree in Physiotherapy.
Registered Physiotherapist - no Residents.
Registered and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
Interest in and commitment to developing expertise in concussion therapy.
Skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and dedicated to providing exceptional care to patients
Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and collaborate with other professionals
Ability to provide compassionate care while maintaining professionalism
Proficiency in assessing, diagnosing, and developing treatment plans for a wide range of physical conditions
Time management skills to ensure timely and effective patient care
Adaptability to adjust treatment plans as needed
Stong orthopaedic and manual therapy skills
Acupuncture training an asset
Vestibular training and post-concussion rehab an asset
Responsibilities
Assess and diagnose patient's physical conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans
Provide physiotherapy treatments to patients with various conditions
Monitor and evaluate patient's progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
Educate patients on exercises and techniques for self-care
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Stay current with advancements in physiotherapy techniques and research
