Summary
We are seeking a skilled Roofer to join our team at Valley Metal Roofing Ltd., serving clients from Hope to North Vancouver. In this role, you will contribute to our mission of providing maintenance-free roofing solutions that enhance property value while reflecting individual style. Your expertise will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality installations.
Responsibilities
- Install metal roofing systems according to specifications and safety standards
- Perform repairs and maintenance on existing roofs
- Utilize hand and power tools effectively for roofing tasks
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project efficiency
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment on-site
- Adhere to safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
Qualifications
- Proven experience in roofing or construction (minimum 2 years preferred)
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to roofing tasks
- Strong understanding of construction site safety practices
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship
- Must have a reliable vehicle and the ability to travel to job sites between Hope and North Vancouver on a regular basis
- Lives in Surrey, Langley, Maple ridge, mission, Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Pitt Meadows
